Brand Story

The Mini Jones brand was established in the 1980s, but before that, there was a story about love and family that had been circulating for many years. In 1865, in the Isle of Man, England, Jones was born into a family of craftsmen. His father made a living by casting iron tools. One day, when Jones was 18, a young girl named Diana came to his shop to have a sword cast. While testing the sword, she accidentally cut herself, but Jones was quick to help and provided her with a bandage. They struck up a conversation, and Jones learned that Diana lived in a castle and was the daughter of a nobleman. Her father was very strict and allowed her to leave the castle only once a month.

A month later, Diana returned to the shop to have her sword fixed. She was shy at first, but they soon began chatting happily. After their conversation, Jones reluctantly saw her off. Three years passed, and despite her father's disapproval, Diana abandoned her noble life for love and ran away with Jones. They started a simple and happy life together, had two children, but were eventually found by Diana's father. When they had to part, Jones was inconsolable, and the children cried nonstop. Jones shouted to Diana that he would come to get her, and she wept at the sound of his words.

Back at the castle, Diana refused to eat and her health began to decline. Her father allowed her to visit Jones and the children once a year. Jones tried various ways to change Diana's father's opinion of him and convince him to let Diana come back to be with him and their children. He decided to focus on making a fortune by casting iron tools, but he found it difficult to balance making the tools and taking care of the children. Diapering the children was especially challenging for him.

One day, when he took the children out to play, they came across a field of cotton. The children played in the cotton and, suddenly, one of them couldn't hold it and urinated on the cotton. Jones watched as the cotton absorbed the urine and had an idea. He picked the cotton, washed and dried it, and sewed it together to make a simple diaper. Because cotton had strong water-absorbing properties, this new and easy-to-make diaper method quickly became popular in the town. People started asking Jones to teach them how to make it, and some even asked to buy it from him. Jones was thrilled and redefined diapers. He began to concentrate on making diapers that not only made life easier for parents but also promoted child health. He set out to explore and experiment with different cotton processing methods that could solve different problems. Eventually, he succeeded in solving the diaper problem for his children.

One day, someone came to Jones's yard and informed him that the king had forced Diana into marriage, and she had passed away from lovesickness. Jones was devastated and bedridden. He eventually passed away too. With Jones's death, diaper development stopped. Many years later, the sad love story between Jones and Diana was passed down in their family, and people were moved by their love story. In the 1980s, their descendants decided to revive their ancestors' craftsmanship and family values by establishing a brand of disposable diapers and named it Mini Jones after Jones. They wanted to pass down their love story from generation to generation and spread love through their brand.
